We are very excited to announce that we will hold the Pioneer Valley All-Day Singing (PVADS) on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Sunderland Town Park and Pavilion, which is only about a mile from our customary PVAD  venue (The 1st Congregational Church of Sunderland). The singing will start at 10:00 a.m. We will have dinner on the grounds!

In order to ensure the safest possible environment, we are requiring:

  • That all attendees take a home test for COVID-19 within 24 hours of the event. Take a picture so you can show proof of a negative test when you arrive at the welcoming table.
  • If you are experiencing symptoms, please sit this one out.

The pavilion provides a large covered area, bathrooms, kitchen facilities, and ample parking. Click here for directions to Sunderland Town Park.

The Park is equipped with numerous picnic tables but no individual chairs, so we ask that local singers bring as many chairs as they can.

We have the park until 8 p.m., so we can continue to hang out and visit with people at the Park after the singing. The Park has a large barbecue pit, so if we have support for it and grill masters willing to come forward, "grilling and chilling" could happen.

The Harp of Ages singing will be held on Monday, July 3, at the home of Wendy Sibbison in Greenfield, MA. More details to follow.

*Please be advised that there may be young, unvaccinated children present at the event.
